Read Moree>> ITC LtdNSE 0.35 % on Tuesday announced that it has entered into an arrangement with the Bamboo Research and Training Centre (BRTC) in Maharashtra for the supply of agarbattis (incense sticks) marketed under its Mangaldeep brand. This is part of ITC’s safety matches and agarbatti business unit.
As part of the agreement, BRTC will exclusively manufacture and package incense sticks as per ITC’s specifications, while ITC will facilitate and assist BRTC to achieve best in class manufacturing.
The agreement is valid initially for four months and will cover the complete production cycle up to the packaging and storage of the finished incense sticks. BRTC is an autonomous organisation formed by Maharashtra Forest Department.
